Very interesting article on last Friday's (27th January 2012) edition of www.RecruitingBlogs.com. Apparently, Walmart has saved over $5million in the last two years through using video technology as a part of their interviewing process. This supports the view of Interview Coordinator who have maintained the position that video interviewing is not only a likely trend with a cost saving benefit, but that there is an associated environmental benefit as well - visit http://www.interviewcoordinator.com/theinterviewer/articles_keeping_it_green.html. Has anyone come across other quantified savings claims through using video interviewing perhaps as part of an online applicant tracking system?
